GONetwork and the Georgia Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI-Ga) have once again combined efforts to improve hunting and wildlife habitat while at the same time saving sportsmen money.
Two truckloads of soybeans and one truckload of corn are already here and can be purchased now. Seeds may be picked up in Greensboro between March 20 and April 19 during business hours. There may - underline may - be opportunities to pick up seed on Saturday or Sunday, but ONLY with prior scheduling with the warehouse. We will post more information about scheduling pickups on this page in the weeks ahead, please check back soon.
Keep your e-mail receipt when you buy your seeds, and present your receipt when you pick-up your seeds. Last year grain sorghum was offered, and may be again this year, but it is not yet here. Seeds will not be offered for sale until it is in the warehouse.
To buy seeds, you must be a member of either GONetwork or SCI-Ga. These are surplus seeds, and non-profit organizations like GONetwork and SCI-Ga are prohibited from selling these seeds at a profit. The purpose of the program is to offer a service to the organization's membership and to benefit wildlife at a very affordable price.
These surplus seeds are at least a year old, not certified, and can only be used for conservation purposes, not any form of crop or product production. There is no statement regarding germination, so if none of the seed comes up... oh well. Last year corn and grain-sorghum germination was excellent; soybeans were excellent where they came up and poor where they didn't. About three of 10 purchasers were disappointed in the soybeans. Seeds are treated with a coating that renders them unsuitable for feeding to wildlife.

The GONetwork Seed Store is open to active members of the Georgia Outdoor Network. You must provide a valid GONetwork member number to submit an order.
