GONetwork and SEEDS Deer-Scoring Results
contributed by GONetwork Staff
last updated June 22, 2009   05:03PM
Scoring results for the GONetwork and SEEDS Big-Buck contests have been compiled. After two scoring events — the first in Tifton and the second in Madison — 81 GONetwork entries were scored.

GONetwork or SEEDS members with the highest-scoring deer from their districts qualify for a Chevy Colorado from John Megel Chevrolet in Dawsonville. SEEDS members are hoping to win a western big-game hunt, compliments of Flies and Fletching, Arrowdynamic Solutions, country-music artist Roland Whitt and Dan Mangus of Wilderness Outfitters in Challis, Idaho.

Thirty-nine GONetwork districts and 28 SEEDS districts are represented with an entry in the drawings. In 11 districts, a SEEDS member has qualified for both the truck and the western big-game hunt.

Drawings for the GONetwork and SEEDS contests will be held Sunday, August 9 at 2 p.m. at GON’s Outdoor Blast in Macon. Below, listed by district, are the results.

Deer-contest entries are listed by name and B&C score. “NT” denotes non-typical score. To compare typical vs. non-typical racks, divide the net scores by the Boone & Crockett minimums for the all-time B&C record books (170 for typical, 195 for non-typical).
