Wheat Orders Canceled

After pressing our surplus wheat supplier for a firm delivery deadline, and having received none, we believed it in the best interest of GONetwork members to establish a cancel-order date of August 25 on the order we had placed. Sportsmen who had ordered seed needed to be able to make reliable plans.

Faced with the deadline date of August 25, the supplier felt it best to simply cancel the order immediately.

Those GONetwork members who had placed orders for wheat will be receiving a letter from GONetwork and either a check or a credit to their credit card for the full amount of the purchase (depending on how they paid for the order).

This program is very successful and popular if seed is available in a predictable time frame. However, when that time frame is not predictable, then sportsmen are unable to follow-thru with their planting schedule because they may be held hostage to a purchase that could arrive too late to be of use to the sportsman or to wildlife.

We apologize for any inconvenience this action may cause. However, we believe this action eliminates any further, and perhaps more serious inconvenience this fall.

We plan to continue to work with this program to better serve everyone. As we move forward, we will keep you informed.
